I’m still trying to make up my mind if my dream last night was a good one or a bad one. but i know i really want to go back to sleep just to see Felix standing next to me.

I don’t know why life is like that, they give you people that you tell everything to & then take some of them away. (thank God my clique is still around ♥) i really don’t understand (but surely it happens) how two people can drift apart from each other when once upon a time they had everything in common. I look back & I really miss the friendship I shared with Joe, Felix, Kevin & hell even ChinHua. but the case with Joe, Kevin & C is not so bad because we are still friends, we just don’t talk very often, or meet very often anymore. but I remember when Kevin was my bester, when Joe & I talked everyday & C minus the whole LOML thing he really was my best friend. but Felix ? We just stopped, & he fell off the face of the earth with no idea how much he has impacted my life/me. I haven’t seen him for 7 (God I’m old) years, but his face comes to me in less than a split second. If I should have a God-brother/sworn brother, I would choose Felix with no hesitation. He taught me many things, lessons in life that I would not have learnt otherwise, but he didn’t mean to.

If you told me that I’d have Felix back in my life & things were as before if I gave up say 20 years of my life, I’d accept that trade. & the truth is although I’ve googled him everytime I think about him (which is quite often) I can’t find a single cllue about whether or not he’s still even alive. & the saddest thing is I don’t have a single photo of him, much less with him.

& I always wonder if I ever pop into his mind, like he does mine. whether he stops for a moment to think about me, whether I have impacted his life as he has impacted mine.

but while I’m here, I always turn to be thankful for my clique growing with me, & staying with me despite prolly seeing my ugly side many times already. ily girls ♥♥♥

So… I’ve been in Kaiserslautern for roughly 7 weeks now & in those 7 weeks, i cannot believe i went through major ups & downs. (why do all good things come to an end). & it really scares me how you can know someone better than yourself in one moment, & in the next you know you’re looking at a stranger.

But my math lessons have officially started & all my eagerness & nerd-ness in looking forward to math lessons are now down the drain. A culture shock because 1) there are no printed notes so i literally copy every single thing down. & i cannot multi-task so i cannot listen to my lecturer & copy at the same time :/ 2) they use chalk boards & they have no dusters ! so everytime the boards are full my prof would take bout 2 minutes to clean using a sponge & a wiper. I miss printed notes & I miss computers. & I miss friends in lectures. But I guess this way is good because there is no one besides the prof talking.

But I’ve been dragging this post for 7 weeks so here’s some pictures ! The last week was Easter week so I had a break from friday til monday. technically thursday too since my lesson ended at 9:45am. I packed my room the whole of Thursday, so here’s photos ! (:

my table now (: my laptop wallpaper used to be HyunSeung, but i changed it because there was suddenly an abundance of good HS photos & i didn’t know which one to put.. & if you see that post it with the word moisturiz underlined 3 times, it’s because i forget to moisturize everyday even though it takes less than 2 seconds to walk from my bathroom to my room. :/ & of cos my SOBEAST 2011, eunhyuk, hyunseung & justin bieber (: in front of JB is my holder for accessories, shouldn’t have covered the letter K that sherri sewed on for me.

that’s all from my room. I don’t really clean it very often because I am lazy. I used to sweep it like once in 3 days because I get some guests, but now that I don’t, I don’t care anymore. lol.

first up, these are my apartment mates ! L-R, Patricia (Canary Islands (!!)), Nalan (Turkey), and Trish. lol. At an Irish pub for St Patty’s Day ! :D

& this is gülen ! (: She’s from Turkey & I’d say my best friend here. (:

Next up are Brazilians, there are alot of them here. HAHAS. in alphabetical order of the ones in my class/i’m close to :

andré ! we call him andréa (inside joke). hahas, me, him gülen & thiago (later you’ll see who) we sit tgt in class & we really do make alot of noise. but the funniest thing in all of the classes so far is when we were learning about moving words. so we also people names and some names of places at the same time. At that time we kept using “ins Kino gehen”. it continued for a few days until andré couldn’t take it anymore & exclaimed “who the fuck is Kino ?!” me & gülen were laughing our asses off. Kino is Deutsch for Cinema. (okay, maybe you had to be there, but it’s a really super funny moment, lol)

franciso ! or xico for short. i call him wally (dj wally if you want. dj cos he’s normally the one ‘controlling’ music during parties) because once he wore this red&white striped shirt to class & andré was “karolyn, you know wally ?” & i nodded & he went “i found wally !” & pointed to xico. i laughed so much that day, i swear he completely looks like wally !!

germano ! (pic on the left is Germano, Nalan & me) actually have an awesomely unglam photo of him, lol but it’s on fb in zwei schloss ! he’s always running everywhere. literally running. that time we went meisenweg, Gülen, Vitor, him & I left tgt cos we live near each other & he just told us he’s going to run & ran back to alcatraz ! & the distance between meisenweg-alcatraz is quite far okay :/ (maybe far to me, hehs)

leonardo. i don’t have a picture with him though. funniest moment was once we were all walking to buy stuff for the länderabend brasilien & i tripped over myself & almost fell. & he went “are you drunk ?!!” & less than 5 minutes later, he walked into a pole. HAHAS & of cos perfect opportunity to use what he said against me. :D leo’s not from my class, his command of german is better than ours…

luiza (on the right). no idea why i have no photo with her, hahas ! but she’s not in my class cos her command of German is really good as told to me by her mentor. heehee.

pedro, they call him dusso (his last name). i tried his sunglasses once & before i put it on, he told me i didn’t have the nose to wear it. lol, it really just slipped down. :/ funny story of how he injured himself while playing kicker, heeheehee.

thiago ! He’s so slow, i swear. & we’ll be happily walking ard & suddenly one of us will stop & ask “where is thiago ?!” it is always thiago. hahahas. & when i say he’s slow, i really mean it. we tease him all the time, i don’t know if he gets affected or not, i try not to, but i can’t help it ! it’s like we’re copying notes, i can copy finish & he’s not even halfway done. lol. & of cos he’s my tickling partner. i sat beside him for one period of time & everytime i put my head on the table he jabs me & says “don’t sleep”. so there was one time gülen noticed he was sleeping & nudged me to tickle him & he jumped OFF his seat, HAHAHAHAHAS.

thomas ! somehow he’s always in my photos & i have to retake them. his head, his body or his hand (intentionally. grr) anw i introduced to him the concept of celebrating your birthweek not your birthday. heh heh. & i got him this really expensive pepsi :/ we were (he was) really craving pepsi in the Speyer museum but 0.33l costs a ridiculous 2.60euro. & i paid that. for us. heeheehee. anw i was wondering where did all the photos i took with him disappear to because i specifically rmb snapping quite a bit of photos with him & i realised they’re all in Vitor’s camera ._. anw, thomas is one of the few guys i know that can pull off the colour pink. (:

Vitor. He’s the biggest surprise of my trip because i never expected him to know about k-pop. especially when Brazilian (funk !!) music is awesome. he’s also not in my class because he knows German alr & he has been helping me with my hausaufgaben, hahas ! But flames to dust. .-.

The Brazilians have taught me so many Portuguese curse words it’s not even funny. i have a list of words to curse in sgp alr. & when they asked me for some Chinese curse words, i couldn’t think of any ! are there any ? :/ & they have completely ruined my twist pose. ._.

some other people now :

Germano, André & Arpit ! heehee, we call Arpit Arbeit because of an accident in class. (arbeit = work in Deutsch). Our teacher was talking about arbeit to Juan & Juan was like isn’t that him ? while pointing to Arpit. cue laughter. heehee.

that’s about all the photos i plan on uploading today. it took me 5 hours to do this post, please appreciate my immense amount of effort. if there are spelling errors, I DON’T CARE. i decided to do this before school gets too hard & before i fly to paris (!!!) i have completely no idea how i could ninja 2 tickets for smtown (!!!) i’m really excited to see hyuk♥♥ & DUBU♥♥ i really hope he doesn’t screw up RDD again. if anything happens to any SJ/SN/SNSD/2BSK/F(X) members i will cry i tell you. if all goes well, it completely makes up for me missing JB, b2st, teen top, fti, AFTER SCHOOL. shampoo shampoo, i cannot wait for AS’ comeback ! in less than 2 days times omgggg.

#70 Butterfly Milk Paradise

LEEHYUKJAE ! ♥

hahas i didn’t know what to write as the first sentence/word for this post, so i’d say eunhyuk suffices. (: i had the highest productivity rate out of me, min & lin. i saw (my) hyukkie for 10 hours (: & although there’s the smiley there, but i assure you TEN HOURS IS NOT ENOUGH. & i have no idea why, but i became a shawol halfway through my korea trip. taemin ♥ but the korea trip was awe-waitforit-some & yet non-awesome at the same time. paradoxical i know ! i managed to spend almost every single cent i have. (save 25 sgp cents & 100won) was prepared to beg for money for my overweight luggage. so anw, my butterfly milk paradise trip unfolds.

so i guess the proper way to do this is to blog according to days, but i swear the days seem all the same (except weekends that is) we had our proper daily (i mean nightly) schedule planned out. which revolves around shopping, suju & food. i prolly consumed 40litres of strawberry milk in my 20 days there, it was my green-tea-replacement & sgp milk can’t compare really. & please if you’re in seoul MUST EAT CHICKEN, FRIED CHICKEN. sgp’s can’t compare, even kfc (& i’m a HUGE kfc fan, ask anyone). of cos eat kyochon chicken (suju) or mexicana chicken (SHINee) :D support them !

so the trip started off with tons of last minute packing on both sides, but min was worse than me HAHAS. so 5th june, thanks to the availability of cars we managed to reach the airport safely & soundly & more importantly on time. (: checked in & both of us tweeted before boarding the plane. & we were lucky enough to get last row seats so no one was behind us & we could lean all the way back. (:

& of cos what’s a trip without a tiggr tagging along ! (: he’s enjoying his first sunrise on an airplane.

so after touching down, we grabbed our luggages, boarded the bus & headed down to the guesthouse to check in & freshen up !

& then we took our first korail ride. & since we ARE foreigners, snapping photos w the adverts along the way there. :D here’s f(x), 2am & nichkhun (:

& our first stop (at my request) was everysing at myeongdong. but it was extremely disappointing. i thought there would be so much more stuffs available, but it was jst basically disappointing. ): i bought very little from there, especially since hyukkie doesn’t have many good photos of him. & my taemin craze hasn’t emerged yet.

trudged around myeongdong (f21 !!!!!) & then headed back to the guesthouse. & on the way to the myeongdong station i found my favourite store. (didn’t snap a picture, dammit). we revisited them alot of times :D it’s this store called ‘record’ & i bought ALL the suju albums there, BIC3, lucifer, come into the world etc etc from there. on the first day itself, i spent prolly 300 there ? i got a 90 degree bow in return, hahas ! :D

we went to sukira on that day absolutely forgetting the boys were out of the country. -____- hahas, i got so excited for noth, but no complaints cos we managed to find our way there on our first try, didn’t even get lost or anyth ! :D so we went dongdaemun for night shopping & almost everywhere was closed -___- ended up at migilore where i bought ummm, ALOT. D: went back to rest after that ! & my legs died after day 1. i’m really a lousy shopper cos i have no stamina for shopping. we rested alot on the next 19 days after that cos i couldn’t take it.

the next few days were blurred to me, we jst went around seoul shopping where we had this huge role reversal. i spent so much while min was so disappointed. D: but thankfully on the last week or so we went dongdae at night where min managed to spend all her cash as well (i don’t know if i should smile or frown, uhhh).

we finished myeongdong & then namdaemun (disappointing, left without buying anyth except for my ozil jersey, germany ftw !) & then coex mall (extremely disappointing. we didn’t get anyth if i’m not wrong), apgujeong (i found my favourite buy there ! & min loved apgujeong, i think it was the best shopping area for her !), dongdaemun, express bus terminal (10,000 won shoes !!! i caved & bought 1 pair of heels). i think that was all the places that we went. honestly all i cared about was making sure we reached sukira in time. :D

we went successfully saw sukira for 5 nights. & each time hyukkie walked into the studio my heart skipped a beat (: but on the first night he had such a grouchy & black face (& the black face sticked with him throughout mucore the next day), seriously don’t know what’s wrong. but the next 4 times we went he was all smiles, like a normal hyukkie.

sukira night 1 : 9th july 2010 friday. we were nooblets there & everyone grabbed good standing positions. we learnt from them for the next few nights :D i must tell you how hard it is for me to not upload every single photo i snapped of hyukkie okay ! please appreciate my vetting ): ): day 1 no expertise/experience yet so only 6 photos are nonblur, hahas !

so day 2 ! (: so exciting :D:D we learnt from our 1st day experience & “stole” dustbins to stand on, next to the fixed benches there. :D

& before they left the studio, lee teuk went to take a photo of his & hyuk’s cardboard thingy, while all the cameras turned to take teukkie taking himself, i faithfully focused on hyukkie & hee hee :D

4th sukira visit ! i had a photo spam cos i got a fricking good spot !!! :D heehee plus hyukkie moved the mike away from him whenever the music’s playing (:

last sukira visit. wanted to keeeell myself cos my camera wasn’t charged plus didn’t get the prime hyuk spot ): & my fav mblaq member was the guest & i din like him then…. ugh ):

end of sukira(s). reminiscing makes my heart drop cos after we left so many things happened ! most importantly hyuk dyed his hair back ! ): i didn’t get to see it live, ugh. & he brought choco to sukira omggg ! ): can’t believe i missed thaaaat. PLUS SHINEE TOOK OVER NARSHA’S RADIO for a day. & TEEN TOP WERE GUESTS FOR NARSHA’S also ): ): omgg depression.

but anw, the last bit of this trip. the only touristy thing we did, hahas ! LOTTE WORLD. (: depression after not getting tix for the first inki, we decided to go LW the next day. (also because my legs were in dire need of a day off from shopping, it was begging to be chopped off really)

but of cos going for this trip & finding out about teentop… (: chunji jjang ! :D:D heehee

but school has started & whoo boy the workload is krazy. so off to study for my korean (:D) language quiz tmr ): ): plus of cos i’m gg to be late for yoga soon !

23rd March at P.S. cafe, dempsey. being the foodster that we all are (hahas, don’t deny it you are one), photos of our food. if you notice v carefully, jerd orders fish&chips almost all the time. & i was extremely disappointed w mine since i only ordered it because of its sweet potato mash. but hurrah, we all left feeling full & w a discrepancy w the bill that the math major & jerd finally solved.

birthdays are noth without birthday cake. so a specially made cake by min sam & i !

but birthdays are also noth without birthday presents !

clueless about where to go next, sand-toe-sha it is ! spoon the whole night long, poor ness lost & had to do a dare.

after one whole day of lying, we came tgt at zhen’s house. & the only thing that sounded like a lie was the only truth – i had to leave to attend a sleep symposium. & it was a success ! (: birthday girl was surprised, good job jerd, michael, sherri, ness !
